For all you James Marsden fans out there: This might be a little something to get a wee bit excited about. A potential movie that Jimmy's name may or may not be attached to. But a gal can hope! (I just wish Kevin Smith's name was still attached to direct, but beggers can't be choosers, I guess.)

Happy Supernatural Day, everyone!!!! Tonight we get Castiel and a look at a new angel who looks like he could pass as Big Papi's brother. Winchester boys, trick-or-treating, angels, and smiting entire towns all in the same epi? *iz excited*

Got Snow? I do.......almost 20 inches of it. Ugh. Weather man said be prepared for a couple inches of the white stuff. Everyone else around us got a couple inches or nothing but rain. We lucky folks living in the higher elevations got SLAMMED. I've lived here in the Poconos for 16 years and we've NEVER had this amount of snow before Halloween. This is not a good sign for the coming winter.

Seriously, the movie was awesome! HILARIOUS! I went to see it with my sister. I practically had to drag her there because she was "not in the mood for a raunchy comedy." But I talked her into it and OMG, we laughed soooooo friggin hard! At one point, both of us were crying, trying to catch our breath because the ~~off color~~ jokes and comedic timing were just fall-down-laughing funny. And Jimmy and Seth stole every scene they were in. And I'm not just saying that because they're my boys. Really, go see the movie, you'll see what I mean. And what happens with Jimmy's character at the end does not disappoint, haha! I highly recommend it, especially if you're in dire need of a good laugh. Two thumbs waaaay up! :)

So I did something radical and crazy tonight and dropped the safeguard feature on Google Images (gasp!) and browsed through pics of our dear Jimmy, like I always do when I'm bored and am in need of some James eyecandy. To my absolute surprise, some new pictures surfaced that never appeared when the Google safeguard was on. Why said pics would need to be filtered and considered "unsafe" (besides the fact they should carry the warning heading of Ultra Cute, May Cause Horniness, Drool-worthy and other like phrases, ~~hubba hubba~~) is beyond me. Anywho, I figured I'd share my delightful findings, just in case there's anyone else out there who has yet to see these lovely photos......and if you have already seen these elusive Mr. Gorgeous-Marsden pictures, don't be afraid to indulge yourself again. ;o)

I wanted to write something a little different, something that I, myself, have yet to read out there in Scott/Logan Ficville. I wondered what it would be like if Logan had met Scott long before either one of them ever came to Xavier's School for the Gifted. Before Scott's mutation, before Logan's adamantium-laced skeleton. The timeline of events in this little fic may be a bit skewed, but in my X-Men universe, anything can happen. ;-)

So tonight I was snuggling down on the couch, eating a late dinner, and watching Extra on TV, when all of the sudden I heard HIS name uttered: James Marsden! WOOHOO! Seems the show was doing an interview with Jimmy about his new role in the movie Sex Drive. I gotta say, Jimmy looks, umm, different....but oh so scrumptious, as usual. Love the spiky hair and the scruff....just like Campbell's Soup - Mmm, Mmm good!

I stumbled upon this youtube vid of Jimmy Marsden that I had not seen before. Thought I'd share it because it's quite funny. The entire time, Jimmy is impersonating the Superman Returns director Bryan Singer. Never once does Jimmy break character. He's hilarious.

I know most of you probably already know about this site, but for those of you who don't (or for those of you who want a quick link), check out The Medicine Wheel for some great X-Men fanfiction. There you will find novels, short stories, crossovers, slash archives, and oneshots involving X-Men characters.

I especially recommend the novels (which are movie-based) Special: The Genesis of Cyclops, which is a prequel to the X1 movie, and Grail, which starts after the end of the X2 movie. To get the full effect of the characters and their origins, I recommend reading those two novels in succession. But honestly, all of the novels and other stories on this site are amazing and are even complimented with photos of the characters (i.e. - James Marsden, Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, etc).

So if you are interested in X-Men fanfiction, don't hesitate to check out this site. And those of you who have already read Minisinoo's work know why I'm giving it and her such high praise.
