Last night I dreamed that I was Jensen Ackles.  Not that I was with Jensen Ackles or having sex with Jensen Ackles.  I was Jensen Ackles. 

And Chris Kane was my boyfriend.

And we were in some cabin with strangers. (At one point, I do remember snuggling and playing with Chris' hair.)  I have no idea who these strangers were or why they were apparently roaming around my crazy subconscious.  Anyway, we (Chris and I (Jensen)) had to leave the cabin in a hurry in the middle of the night.  I dunno why.  I do know we were searching for something or someone.  I do remember making Chris give me the keys to drive the car.  He didn't want me to and wasn't happy about riding shotgun.  It was silver, by the way.  The car.  I dunno why I think that's significant.  It probably isn't.  I don't know what make or model of car it was.  Only that it was silver.

And as we drove away from the cabin I nearly ran over a monkey....and a boxer.  Boxer as in the breed of dog.

Then I woke up.

What the fucking fuck was I smoking before going to sleep last night?

The wind is freakin crazy in the northeast right now.  I'm at work and I just happened to walk by my office window (my car is parked right below the window) when a huge Arnold Schwartzawind kicked up.  It was so strong it actually MOVED MY CAR!  I am not even kidding!  It looked as if someone leaned on the front of my car and pushed it backwards!  THE WHEELS EVEN MOVED!!!  It was crazy!  This weather is scary.

Anyway, I'm hoping to see F13 this weekend with my sister, but I dunno if it's gonna happen.  I'm going to see a friend Friday night and my dad's b-day is Saturday and the Daytona 500 is Sunday (HELLZ YES!).  So I'm not sure if I can squeeze in the movie this weekend.  Perhaps next week or next weekend, we'll see.  Anything to support Jared. :)

Things have been so crazy for me lately.  I thought I was moving to Vegas.  Yes, THAT Vegas.  I'm a forever northeast girl, but my best friend and I have been talking and her parents live out there and we thought it might be adventurous to live out there for a year or so, just to try something different.  We're both kinda in limbo at the moment and are both unattached (man-wise) with no kids, thank God, so now would be the best time to do something crazy like, say, move to Vegas, LOL!  Then we thought, well, maybe that's a bit extreme, how about Charlotte, NC?  I've been to that area quite a few times and I really like it there and the living expenses are cheaper than most places and there are more jobs in that area too (which is important because of the sorry economy).  But I think we're both getting cold feet and kinda shying away from the "crazy move" idea.  We might still move in together, but I'm thinking it's gonna be closer to home, for now anyway.  But I wouldn't count out Vegas or NC for the not-too-distant future.

And I wanted to wish everyone a Happy SPN Thursday, even though it's a rerun tonight (which sux giant moose rooster). But, ehh, Happy SPN Day anyway. :D

So, umm, yeah.  I think that's all from me for right now.

Hi, flist! *waves*  I've been MIA for the past few days because I haven't been able to leave my bed.  Ugh.  I've been so seriously sick and I'm still not completely past it.  The fever, sore throat and swollen glands I've had for the past 4 days have taken pain and suffering for me to a whole new level.  Every time I swallow it feels as if razor blades are sliding down my throat.  Lovely, I know.  My diet consists of warm broth, popsicles and water.  On the bright side, maybe I lost a little weight.  Ha.

On another note, after watching this past Thurday's SPN episode, there has been lots of talk (and giggling and poking fun) about seeing Jensen's bowlegs in tight polyester shorts.  It was quite amusing and I laughed along with you all until I was curious as to how someone becomes bowlegged (and being boinked by Jared was not one of the reasons/options, lol) so I researched it on Wikipedia.  And OMG....now I'm sad. :o(  I had no idea how serious this condition is or could become.

I realize that most of what is discussed is a generalization and may not apply for all people with bowlegs and that some cases are much more extreme than others.  But after reading the Wikipedia article and hearing Jensen say in an interview that the body part he least likes of himself are his legs, I feel really badly for poking fun or even for loving his bowlegs.  I know, Jensen just wouldn't be Jensen without his bowlegs, but I can't look at them anymore without having the overwhelming feeling to hug the guy to pieces. :o(

Anyway, it's good to be back, flist.   I hope to be back at 100% operational capacity soon. ;o)

Ahh, flist.  I am so frustrated right now.  I've created a couple personal movies via Windows Movie Maker and they look and sound great, but when I save them to my computer and play them back via Windows Media Player they look all psychedelic and rainbow-fuzzy and you can't even tell what you're looking at. *pulls hair out*  WTF am I doing wrong???  Help..........plz.  *big sad puppy eyes*

Oh yes, it's that time again.  Time for me to kick back on the beach, take in the sun and just watch the waves for a whoooooole week!  I don't have to do aaaaanything else if I don't want to.  My sis and I are off to Hilton Head Island, SC, from the 8th to the 16th of this month. *SQUEE*  I will be going no mail and no LJ for the duration.

Everyone here probably already knows that I'm a huge Jimmy Marsden fan, but most of you most likely don't know that I am a huge NASCAR fan as well.  Yes, NASCAR: the sport where cars go round and round in a continuous boring circle, and redneck hicks get drunk and loud and cheer for their driver and give the middle finger to the driver they don't like.  At least, thats how a lot of people on the outside looking in think of the sport.  Except that's not how it really is, at least not anymore.  I'm not a redneck, I don't drink (I don't even like going to a loud thumping club where I can't hear myself think), and I like going to the races with my friends and family.....just for fun.  And, oh, I guess I'll mention who my favorite driver is now:  Jeff Gordon.  Those of you who know virtually nothing about the sport of NASCAR probably still have heard of Mr. Gordon.  But anyway, I'm rambling.  I went to the Pocono race this past weekend and got awesome seats in the infield Executive Tower and pit passes as well.  I was in heaven!  Experiencing a race live is a far, far cry from watching one on TV.  Just to give you an idea of what I enjoyed, see the pics below....
